Drogmi Palgyi Yeshe b.750? Drogmi Palgyi Yeshe was one of the twenty-five disciples of Padmasambhava. An able translator, he is also credited with subjugating the mamo deities of Tibet.

Dungtso Repa "The Earlier" b.1400? Dungtso Repa “The Earlier” was a treasure revealer in the Dagpo Kagyu tradition. He is said to have revealed treasure that Gampopa concealed in a small lake high above Dakpo Gampo. These teachings spread in the Zurmang Nyengyu tradition.

Gar Dampa Chodingpa b.1180 - d.1240 Gar Dampa Chodingpa, a disciple of Jigten Gonpo, wrote one of the three earliest works on the Gongchig, the Single Intention, and he was one of the three masters who ‘opened’ the holy land of Tsari for retreatants and pilgrims. He founded the Choding Monastery and, in the last days of his life, Rinchen Ling. His present incarnation is the Garchen Rinpoche.

Gotsangpa Gonpo Dorje b.1189 - d.1258 Gotsangpa is considered the founder of a special branch of the Drugpa Kagyu school known as the Upper Drugpa. He traveled widely in western Tibet and present-day Himachal Pradesh, India, and is particularly well known today in Ladakh and Lahaul.

Jamyang Gonpo b.1208? As a disciple of Lorepa, Jamyang Gonpo was the main transmitter of the Lower Drugpa school. At the same time he was a very important teacher of the Cho tradition.

Kodragpa Sonam Gyaltsen b.1182? - d.1261? Kodragpa Sonam Gyaltsen is best known as a teacher of the Six Limbed Yoga, the completion process practice of the Kalachakra Tantra. He did not belong to any one particular lineage, although it might be said that he belonged to this particular Kalachakra lineage together with a combination of general Kagyu with the Lamdre lineage of Zhama.

Kumaradza b.1266 - d.1343 Rigdzin Kumaraja was a holder of the Dzogchen Nyingtik lineage. He was a disciple of Melong Dorje and the master of Longchenpa.

Lorepa Wangchug Tsondru b.1187 - d.1250 Lorepa is considered the founder of a branch of the Drugpa Kagyu called the Me Drug, or “Lower Drugpa.” A very important teacher during his times, he exemplifies the life of solitary meditation under often difficult circumstances.

Ma Rinchen Chok b.750? Ma Rinchen Chok was one of the Semi Midun, the first seven Tibetans to ordain. He is also counted among the twenty-five disciples of Padmasambhava. An able translator, he is credited with the transmission of the Mahayoga tantras. He is said to have been able to eat rocks.

Nanam Dorje Dudjom b.750? Nanam Dorje Dudjom was a minister to King Trison Detsen and one of the twenty-five disciples of Padmasambhava. He part of the party that invited Padmasambhava to Tibet and served as a translator of both sutra and mantra scripture. Dorje Dudjom was said to have been able to pass through solid rock.
